Three letters written by B. O. (Benjamin Oliver) Johnson, Montana division superintendent with the Northern Pacific Railway, while on detail with the Russian Railway Service Corps to assist in railroad construction and repair (especially bridges) in Siberia. The letters consist primarily of descriptions of military actions by Czechs and Bolsheviks where they involved the Trans-Siberian Railroad.
